Hi all
I'm an Australian applying for a YMV and have a question regarding the entry date on the Visa. I will be leaving Australia on January 31st so have to apply for my Visa now but will be travelling through South America for three months before I go to the UK (due to arrive in UK start of May). Apparently we are able to post date the Visa for three months? I was wondering how I go about doing this as there was no option to specify this on the application form and was worried that if I put the May date on the form they will send it back as they would have thought I'd applied too early?
Thanks! |

It is the 'Intended date of travel' in the application form, but it is often disregarded (see other recent thread on this board).
I would put it on the form and clearly in a cover letter as well. |
