This world leading pharmaceutical services company has 36 offices worldwide and now has an exciting opportunity in London for a Senior Medical Director. The Director oversees and coordinates all functions associated with Pharmacovigilance, reporting of SUSARs to Regulatory Authorities and ECs and consulting in the area of drug safety. The Director will provide support to the sales teams in evaluating opportunities and proposals and participating in client meetings for marketing and proposal defense purposes. The Director will provide appropriate overall technical direction and oversight to projects assigned to the Medical Services team in the UK and will assure the quality of client deliverables and will advise the project teams throughout the project on medical issues. Additionally, the Senior Medical Director may function as QP in Pharmacovigilance on selected, high profile projects for the company's clients in various therapeutic areas. To be considered for this post, you will need to be a qualified and registered doctor, even if you are not now practising as such, have significant senior management experience in the healthcare sector, have worked internationally, and have an excellent knowledge of drug safety. This post is full-time and permanent and offers remuneration in the region of £50,000 to £80,000, depending on experience.
