Job Description
A Bedfordshire Authority needs a policy planner to join their busy planning department.
You will be required to Collate land-use data from application files, business application software, site visits and other appropriate sources and input to appropriate software (EXCEL, ACCESS or other) for analysis.
Analysis of land-use data to support the council's AMR and regional policy monitoring processes.
Provide planning policy advice to development control colleagues and support the final production of the Local Plan and input to joint local development documents as required.
The ideal candidate will have similar experience within a UK Authority or exceptional overseas experience coupled with knowledge of UK planning systems.
