Job Description
The role will actually see you seconded to one of the capital's Local Borough Councils. You will be responsible for the management and delivery of 3-4 highway maintenance and improvement schemes at anyone time ranging in value from £20k - £500k.
Your responsiblities and duties will include carrying out:
- Site surveys
- Preliminary and detailed design
- Production of drawings using AutoCAD
- Bill of Quantities and cost estimates
- Issuing work orders to contractors
- Public consultation
- Site supervision of contractors
- Agreement of invoices and payments
- Third party liaison
The client is seeking an Engineer with a minimum of 5 years relevant highway maintenance experience. You will also be required to provide your own transport for business use.
