Job Description

We are currently looking for a Social Worker LTCP to work within Children Young Peoples Services. The vacancy is based in East London.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Services
• To undertake operational responsibilities within the service located, as outlined below
• To undertake all activity in line with statutory requirements, legislation, procedures & guidance
• To undertake all activity in line with achieving all relevant Performance Indicators and Quality standards

2. People
• To undertake operational responsibilities, as outlined below, in regard to line management within the service, and across Children & Young People Services
• To work actively with partner agencies
• To promote Customer Care in regard to all service users and external partners
• To actively facilitate the participation of children, young people and their parents

Candidates are required to hold a clear enhanced CRB, references covering the last 5 years and a full CV covering and explaining any gaps in your employment history and also having the reasons for leaving previous posts.

Candidates need to be registered with the General Social Care Council.
