An opportunity exists for experienced site staff to work on highways projects being undertaken in the Norfolk. The 6 month project will deliver highways services for motorways and main trunk roads.

In order to deliver against the highest expectations we are looking for Section Engineers with experience of highways construction, re construction and maintenance, drainage, earthworks, construction and structures including retaining walls, culverts and bridges etc along with white lining, signage, lighting ducting and communications.

As the Section Engineer you will have responsibility for;
• Ensuring that all works are constructed in accordance with the project plan and construction drawings.
• Method Statements; producing and reviewing
• Planning and programming of your section of works.
• Work closely with the commercial team to give input in to managing the budget and costs and measuring works for valuations
• Management / Supervision of junior engineers and sub contractors
• Ensure all works are carried out in adherence with HSE policies and procedures
Requirements
• Experience in working on civil engineering projects in a similar role, specifically Highways
• HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering desirable
• Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation
• Relevant CSCS Card
