Head Chef £26,000 (new opening) + Tips + Bonus + Temporary Live In

Great opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef in a new opening south west of Swindon. Our client is looking for a talented Head Chef to open his new Gastro Pub / Country Inn.

The style of food will be modern British, with several Classic dishes re-visited making the most of local seasonal produce, the restaurant is looking to gain the reputation for superb food at reasonable prices.

The owner will be hands on running the front of house and he has years of experience in 2-3 Rosette properties. He is looking to open at 1 Rosette standard, build a good loyal client base, establish a ‘lunch’ and a ‘dinner’ trade and then gradually push the boundaries.

Initially this will be a stand-alone Head Chef position but the kitchen is big enough to build a team of at least 3 if turnover is as per projections.

There will be a future bonus put in place for reaching turnover targets etc, a full share of tips and there is also live in accommodation on site if required for the first 3 months.

The candidate should possess a good, sound knowledge of Health & Hygiene and Health & Safety and must be able to fully manage the kitchen, ordering and achieve the desired gross profit.
