Job Description

HCL are a leading supplier of Social Care staff across the United Kingdom and have successfully placed many qualified Social Care Workers across all major districts in the UK!

There are multiple short term/long term positions across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales for Qualified Social Workers to fill requirements in the UK including:

• Children and Families
• Aged Care
• Mental Health
• Adoption and Fostering
• Drug and Alcohol
• Learning Disabilities
• Asylum Seekers
• Hospitals
and more…

You will ideally have experience in:

• Consulting with and interviewing clients, families and carers
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families and carers
• Preparing and presenting documents to court (Child Protection only)
• Liaising and networking with agencies
• Responding to crisis situations
• Creating reports and assessments

We will assist and advise you with the relocation process and be there for you every step of the way!

Below lists what our Social Workers are currently earning in the UK!

Newly Qualified Social Workers receive £18 - £23 GBP/hour
Experienced Social Workers receive £21 - £26 GBP/hour
Senior Practitioners receive £25 - £32 GBP/hour
Managers should expect up to £47 GBP/hour
*range depending on area of the UK

If you work through us, you may be able to offset your tax expenses including:

• Up to £8000 GBP in relocation expenses
• Flights between Australian and the UK for up to 5 years
• Accommodation allowances for up to 2 years
• Up to £50 GBP meal allowance

Referral scheme – if you refer someone to us who we then successfully place in a role, we will happily give you $500!

To qualify for these Social Care Worker positions, you will need to have Tertiary Qualifications in Social Work and be eligible to work in the UK. All levels of experience are encouraged to apply from recent graduates through to senior workers.
