Job Description

Candidates are required to hold a clear enhanced CRB, references covering the last 5 years and a full CV covering and explaining any gaps in your employment history and also having the reasons for leaving previous posts.

1 Making assessments of need and planning appropriate responses.

2 Acting under appropriate legislation to safeguard the welfare of adults including providing accommodation and seeking of legal orders.

3 Monitoring and supervising clients according to statutory and Departmental requirements.

4 Seeking to work in partnership with families to promote, develop and maintain a maximum quality of life.

5 Providing information and advice.

6 Arranging either directly or by referral the provision of additional services within a structured contractual framework. Monitoring the same.

7 Maintaining records of their work as required Departmentally.

8 Preparing reports for Courts and professional colleagues.

Candidates need to be registered with the General Social Care Council.
