A small but well established main contractor with an enviable reputation for quality is looking for a Senior Estimator to join their expanding team. This company covers a number of sectors, however they are looking for someone with high end residential refurbishment and new build experience as this is a growth area for them at present.

The right candidate for this position will:

Have at least 3 years high end residential refurbishment and new build estimating experience.

Be financially astute.

Be dynamic, adaptable, pro active and will be able to work on your own initiative.

Be able to communicate effectively with clients, architects, surveyors & professional teams maintaining strong working relationships.

Be able to extract from clients exactly what they require to develop costs or procure products.

Be able to manage a number of projects at any one time without compromise & feel comfortable with the work load expected in a growing company.

Have the confidence and ability to deal with clients and professionals at all levels.

Be able to send tenders to sub contractors for pricing, negotiate a price & set budgets.

Have a full understanding of estimating from ground works to finishes.
