Job Description

A Kent local authority requires a planning enforcement officer. The role will involve investigation of planning complaints in respects of breaches and alleged breaches of planning legislation as well as prepare reports as appropriate. Negotiate to secure acceptable outcomes where appropriate, so that further enforcement action is not required. Carry out as necessary authorised enforcement action that includes the issuing of statutory notices. Assist in the preparation of any prosecution as part of the enforcement process. Investigate compliance with planning and related permissions. Please be advise that my client would only be intrested in qualified town planner for the role.
