Our client was awarded 'Excellent' in the annual health check award for Quality of Services.

They also have one of the 11 national centres for spinal cord injuries, their cancer services were recently described as ‘exemplar’ and they are a seven-time CHKS Top 40 Hospital.

They have been awarded the highest level under the Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts for both general medical and surgical services and the separate category of maternity services. There are one of only three Hospitals in England to have achieved this.

Since trusts have reported figures for publication, they have had the lowest rate of MRSA Bloodstream infection of any General Acute hospital in the North West and among the lowest in the country. They also have the lowest number of cases of C.difficile in the area.

SPECIALITY DOCTOR - DERMATOLOGY.

They have an immediate need for a Dermatology Doctor to begin on a permanent basis in a busy Consultant-led team.

The department provides a unified service delivered across Southport and Ormskirk Hospitals.

The work is largely outpatient based with occasional admissions to general medical wards for acute dermatological problems.

This role may be suitable for non-UK or non-EEA job applicants wishing to apply for Home Office Tier 2 sponsorship.
