Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic, professional people, who are extremely hard working and have a wanna do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
To be responsible for running a section
To ensure that highest standards of food preparation, food safety and presentation are met
To ensure that sufficient mise en place is prepared on schedule
To ensure dishes are correctly portioned and well presented
To ensure wastage is kept to a minimum
To assist in stock taking
To clean own section and help with other cleaning duties if required
To ensure all Health and Safety legislation is followed at all times
To perform any further reasonable duties are requested by the head chef or sous chef
Qualifications and Experience
NVQ Level 3
City and Guilds 706/1
City and Guilds 706/2
Knowledge of Australasian style of food would be an advantage but is not essential
At least six months relevant experience at this level
