Job Description
Excellent opportunity for a London Council looking to recruit a Town Planner LDF specialist. Based in North London our client is looking to recruit initially on a 6 month basis but with the opportunity for this to be extended further.
With the Councils Local Development Framework preparation underway and the development of the Core Strategy submission document reaching a critical stage, together with a need to support AAP and Master Planning work, there is an urgent need for a principal planner to take a central part in the LDF programme. The post holder will need a thorough knowledge of the relevant legislation and have experience of a broad range of planning work and strong analytical skills. Experience of Master Planning work, housing or transport policy would be an advantage.
