Head of Primary Care – Brixton
The Role:
To provide specialist clinical expertise, leadership and co-ordination to the development of clinical practice, competence, effectiveness and governance in to support the development of a nurse led team delivering services similar to a general practice within HMP Brixton.
Desirable Qualifications Mentorship and Preceptorship Course

Management qualification.
Essential Qualifications Registered General Nurse.

Educated to degree level as a Nurse Practitioner or Community Nurse Specialist in Practice Nursing

Evidence of commitment to post basic education and development.
Essential Experience 3 years experience in primary care nursing
Experience in a role with significant staff development component.

Experience of leading and developing health care services at a local level.

Experience of clinical auditing and evaluating clinical services.

Experience of working across clinical and organisational boundaries.
