Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, outgoing and bubbly COUPLE for a privately owned luxurious country house hotel in Oxford.
One of whom will take on the role as the WEDDING & EVENTS MANAGER. The role involves taking responsibility of marketing, negotiating, assisting, planning and delivering weddings and events to the highest quality. You will be required to ensure that all guest expectations have been met, providing amazing hospitality with attention to detail, creating memories of an experience that the guest will never forget.
The ideal candidate will be organised, an excellent communicator, a hands on manager with experience of working in a similar role.
The other position is for a GENERAL ASSISTANT to assist in all aspects of the day to day running of the hotel, with the prospects of becoming the Bar and Restaurant Manager. This role will involve helping with the day to day running of the hotel and ordering, buying, dealing with the bar stock and assist with marketing and promotions to ensure that the restaurant and bar are kept to a high standard.
For both, knowledge of food, wine and beverage is an advantage but must be computer literate. You must have a passion for hospitality, be smiley with a happy personality and bend over backwards to deliver the best possible customer service, and have the ability to be team players in a small team. Advanced level of English is required.
Start date flexible.
