Setting Out Engineer
South West - Devon
£18 p/h

Our client is a main contractor on a civils infrastructure project based in Devon. Our client is looking for a keen setout engineer to assist them on a job based in Devon which will run for 4-6 weeks. The project is due to start in the first week of June.

Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Contracts Manager
Set up site survey control, and construction set out.
Carry out survey checks on construction elements as progressing to ensure line and level within specification
Keep progress photos and file against a reference drawing
Reporting Non-Conformances to the Contracts Manager
Quality assurance and construction monitoring on site
Keep as-built Cad drawings of the work
Adjusting method statements after consulting with Contracts Manager

Requirements:
Competency in setting out
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
Experienced in all aspects of survey control, survey monitoring, setting out
Involvement in site engineering aspects (paperwork, QA etc) over and above the construction setout duties.
