They are currently looking for Civil Site Engineers to work in Oman on a variety of projects ranging from Airport Malls, Car Showrooms, Motorways and Commercial & Retail projects.Named in the top 200 companies in the world.

The ideally candidate will carry out day to day supervision of construction of civil and/or building structures.

Check materials delivered to the site for compliance with contract requirements.

Order laboratory testing of materials as required by the specification and relevant standards.

Record and review results. Order removal of non compliant materials.

Witness on site testing of materials, record results, and order the removal and replacement of non compliant materials, (e.g. slump tests on concrete, compaction tests on road/pavement base
materials, moisture tests on aggregates, etc.)

Witness and record results of strength tests on piling (if appropriate).

You will request supplementary design information if the original information is missing or not clear.
Inspect the works at each stage of construction and prepare check lists, whilst advising contractor of non-conforming works and ensuring the correct procedures are followed.
