Engineering Surveyor – Cumbria, England
Large Main Contractor seeking experienced Engineering Surveyor in Cumbria Location to join large engineering team for Major Civils Project

Major Civils Project recruiting now for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to undertake long term freelance contract;

Background of working on large civil/mechanical/electrical engineering projects for main contractor highly regarded;

You will be qualified, either degree or equivalent with expertise within the scope of the relevant engineering disciplines;

Direct engineering surveying experience essential as tasks include:

- High accuracy setting out for construction of Reinforced Concrete, M&E and building works
- Using CAD & modelling skills to understand and control precision construction activity
- Utilising scanning technology to produce working models for pre-construction planning

Supervision of construction crews and subcontractors to ensure program of works is delivered in an efficient and safe manner;

For this role strong communication skills are essential to effectively liaise with all site personnel.

Suitable candidates should possess a thorough understanding of reinforced concrete and piping systems; this understanding should include an awareness of all factors affecting movement of concrete eg thermal & seasonal factors;

Suitable candidates should be eligible to apply for a high security clearance pass;
Immediate start and minimum 12 month contract; This job would also lead into other works within the scope;
