Exciting opportunity - Cobalt Recruitment urgently seek a Policy Planner with experience working on LDF documents as maternity cover for our London Borough client.

The leaving team member is an integral part of the policy unit so the successful candidate should have previous experience working on a variety of LDF documents including Core Strategy, Site Allocations and where possible impact assessments.

The main responsibilities will include:
1. To produce a range of LDF Documents arising from the Council's Local Development Scheme in accordance with all necessary statutory procedures, including the requirements for public consultation;
2. To carry out work related to the preparation of LDF Documents, including evidence gathering, policy formulation, monitoring and implementation;
3. To organise and undertake public consultation exercises arising from the preparation of LDF and other policy documents;
