Job Description

You will become part of a friendly team providing care on a 28 bedded elective orthopaedic ward in a large London NHS Hospital. Working with the senior nurses you will play an important part in setting and maintaining the standards of care on the ward. The ward cares for patients after a wide range of elective orthopaedic procedures including joint replacement and spinal surgery. At times it also cares for patients with musculoskeletal injuries.

You should be a NMC registered nurse with current surgical preferably orthopaedic experience. Knowledgeable in the acute surgical patients you will be able to demonstrate ongoing professional development ideally also holding a mentoring/teaching certificate.
