Job Description

The landscape architecture team comprises over 40 staff in locations across the UK and in the Middle East. This multidisciplinary practice work on a wide range of high profile projects needing the full range of landscape expertise in landscape design and landscape planning. The team is expanding to fill opportunities in the Sussex office.

Key Objectives
The principal function of this position is to play a leading and significant role as senior / principal landscape architect on a wide range of interesting projects covering landscape design, planning and assessment. In addition, provide support and mentoring to more junior members of the landscape team in the office.


Key Responsibilities
To work on a wide range of projects on your own initiative in the landscape team in Crawley and as part of the South East landscape team;
Provide support and mentoring to more junior members of the team;
Be adaptable and able to work on a wide range of projects in a multi-disciplinary company with environment, planning, urban design and engineering colleagues.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:

· A landscape architecture degree to part 3 or equivalent;

· Member of the Landscape Institute (essential)

· Experience of working in multi-discipline teams;

· Ability to deliver own project work and organise work of other team members;

· An understanding of proposal writing.
