Job Description
Our client a Local Authority based just North of London is looking for a Development & Infrastructure Planner (aka Transport Planner).
The suceesful applicant will work closely with the County Council, District/Borough Councils and various other stakeholders and local businesses on a range of transport and economic development–related matters.
Specific tasks will include:
• Co-ordinating and supporting the preparation, implementation and monitoring of an Economic Development Strategy for the Council.
• Developing existing initiatives to reduce congestion and promote sustainable transport options within the Borough.
• Taking responsibility for the Council’s economic development function. Defining and promoting economic development interests.
