Operations Manager – Ultrasound Service
Job Description
Ensure that operational objectives are achieved in line with Company strategy and objectives.
Responsible for staff scheduling to ensure appropriate cover at all times with contingency plans in place.
Line management responsibilities for our team of Sonograhers.
Develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients for delivering new Sonography services within the NHS.
Assist in the development of tender documents.
Person Specification
Previous management experience ideally from within a medical / healthcare background.
Strong communication and leadership skills, to manage multi-disciplinary groups of staff (clerical, clinical, health care assistants, doctors etc)
Ability to build strong working relationships and partnerships both internally and externally.
Focussed on providing a quality service with a forward thinking attitude. Must have the ability to be resourceful and flexible work independently and without direct supervision.
A valid full UK driving license is required.
Benefits
Salary: £30 - £35K
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
Private pension.
37 ½ hour working week.
