Job Title: Site Engineer Olympics
Location: East London
Payrate: £27-32k pa plus package.
Be involved in history in the making, be part of the team that will deliver the 2012 Olympics. An opportunity has arisen within a large UK main contractor group who will play a large part in the Olympic construction leading up to the 2012 games.
Company
This multi million £ part of the Olympic project run by a prestigious blue chip company is looking for an experienced site engineer or grad engineer who is ready to make the step up. The company provides a range of Civil Engineering construction services throughout the UK, with this position being part of a large team constructing part of the Olympics 2012.
Main Duties
As Site Engineer you will be working very closely with the Section Engineer and Section Agent to provide technical information which includes setting information and also supervision of the activities which involved effectively managing other specialist sub-contracts, control and monitoring of safety in line with the method statements and risk assessments and company standards and assisting with the compliance including Quality Systems. Every effort will be made to accommodate your needs in respect to training and further professional development.
Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role;
•Previous demonstrated experience in delivering technical information through on site setting out and supervision of construction activities
•A willingness and competency in order to step up into hands on site based role.
•Proven excellent communication and people skills
•A solutions-orientated attitude with a desire to progress within the Construction Industry.
