Job Description

Supervisor, Civils. Project involves 20 weeks of work on externals and hard landscaping. The work is valued @ £1m and involves drainage, duct work, reinstating services with extensive areas of hard landscaping. The area will have a very high quality finish, so you must take pride in your work. The site adjoins adopted roads so an understanding of this quality of work is essential. Additional some traffic management experience would be an asset, whilst experience in externals in paving, landscaping and finishes is essential.

You must:
• Have a current CSCS Gold card, Supervisor’s level
• Have NRSWA qualification
• Have a current Driving licence

General background information:
Roads, Highways and hard landscaping experience and knowledge required for this contract position. You should be conversant with Road and Highway construction, with first hand knowledge of the processes involved and the sequence of construction that is entailed. Projects involving road improvement schemes, new roads, bridges over rivers and railways, village bypass schemes, main drainage schemes, subways and tunnels are all relevant.

The Contractor is a medium sized company operating regionally in London and the South-East.

Experienced in the Civil Engineering field, you will be able to read and interpret drawings, be able to clearly and accurately communicate this information to the workforce and adequately able to complete Allocation sheets and Material check sheets.

In Return you will be offered a competitive rate for the project duration. There may be an opportunity at the end of the contract to go permanent.
