Job Description

Our local authority client is seeking two Strategic Planners to join the team working on a number of ongoing projects:

"We are looking to move forward the Core Strategy from its current stage (issues and options consultation undertaken and responses being prepared with most evidence base currently prepared) to production of Preferred Options report for core strategy and policy. The Core Strategy will also be incorporating strategic sites. "

Therefore our client requires the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment to be concluded (currently have established a Housing Market Partnership, undertaken call for sites and received responses from landowners and agents et al) to establish a 5 year land supply (or what is required to deliver a 5 years plus supply) and potential sites for allocation within the Core Strategy as Strategic housing allocations.

Additionally an infrastructure delivery plan would need to be prepared concurrently to meet Government expectations that Core Strategy proposals are demonstrably deliverable.
