Job Description
An Essex Council has an URGENT requirement for a Development Control Officer.
The position will require you to process allocated planning applications, enforcement enquiries and notices from initial referral through to the final decision and appeal and to undertake site inspections to check plans and assess proposals.
The Development Control Officer will be required to give pre-application advice on planning and enforcement issues by letter, email, telephone and personal contact.
The Development Control Officer will have a Town Planning degree and be eligible to become MRTPI, it is ESSENTIAL that you have access to a car on a daily basis.
