Job Description
An East London Borough is looking to recruit a Senior Policy Officer to join their Policy Planning team.
The Senior Policy Officer's main duties will be to produce a range of Local Development Documents arising from the Council's Local Development Scheme in accordance with all necessary statutory procedures.
You will also be required to carry out work related to the preparation of LDD, including evidence gathering, policy formulation, monitoring and implementation.
The appointed Senior Policy Planner will have previous experience in working with other professional officers within the Council, Consultants and representatives of the local community and advising Members on matters of planning policy.
You must have a recognised Town Planning degree.
