Job Description
We are seeking am Senior Planning Enforcement Officer to investigate and resolve breaches of planning control, monitoring approved developments to ensure conformity with approved plans and conditions, as well as dealing with applications and appeal work.
The sucessful candidate will be responsible for specific and more complex compliance tasks, processing of development applications, preparing statements for planning and compliance appeals, presentation of expert evidence at planning hearings, preparing and giving evidence at court, consultations and negotiations with relevant parties, site visits and presentations to Committee.
This is an exciting Council to work forand applicants should be confident, well versed in planning legislation and preferably with UK experience (although not essential).
