DEXA Scanning Opportunities across the UK

We are currently looking for a number of radiographers and DEXA operators to fill some exciting and dynamic positions across the UK – immediate start date.

Our client is a private healthcare provider with state-of-the-art facilities across England, Scotland and Wales. On offer is a comprehensive package, including a competitive salary in line with skills and experience and a range of locations to choose from.

We are looking for someone who has a knowledge and interest in osteoporosis – research treatment and / or care of patients with osteoporosis.

You should be either a UK registered nurse or radiographer:
• Ideally you should have prior experience of operating DEXA scanning equipment
• If you are a nurse who is willing to learn how to use a DEXA scanner you may also be considered for the position and provided with full training.

The main responsibilities involved in the position are:

• Undertake screening scans in accordance with protocol requirements
• Arranging scan appointments from GP referrals
• Reporting scans and encouraging patients to participate in trials as appropriate
• Identify opportunities to increase patient numbers
• Ensure that scan quality is consistently maintained at a high level whilst identifying areas for improvement
