Job Description
A leading international consultancy is seeking a talented structural engineer to be responsible for the technical delivery of a variety of station enhancement projects. It will mean taking responsibility for ensuring the technical accuracy of designs; providing guidance to less experienced members of the team; management of design teams; and ensuring the development of appropriate design solutions. You will also supply project stakeholders with appropriate information in relation to delivery timescales, technical risk, cost and quality.
You will be a proven professional with plenty of experience in structural engineering in a building environment, including new-build, repair and maintenance, and structural alterations. You will be a chartered engineer (MIStructE or MICE), with experience of rail processes and working in multidisciplinary teams. You will be able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge, familiarity with current design standards and design software, construction procurement processes, understanding of the CDM regulations, and will have experience of team management
