Job Description

A talented head chef is required for a 2 Rosette restaurant within a luxury 4* contemporary hotel in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will have a flair for cooking and will have excellent managerial skills with the ability to lead the current brigade of 8 people (+KPs) to ever increasing standards of excellence. He/She will have previous 2 rosette experience, preferably within a 4* hotel and will have the ability to maintain, build and develop the role. A creative and energetic Chef, the successful Candidate will in addition have substantial Conference and Banqueting experience (the ability to use a regen system would be an advantage), and be able to speak confidently to Clients about Menus and all other related matters. This position may suit a Sous chef looking for his first position as Head Chef or a Head Chef wishing to broaden his/her experience and embrace the opportunity to work with locally sourced ingredients.
Salary £28K per annum
