Job Description

A dynamic Architectural practice in the centre of London wishes to appoint a fully qualified Architect to work on a £8M Hotel Project in the UK.

The practice has been appointed as Lead Consultant, Architect and Interior Designer on this project. It will involves the conversion and adaptation of a Grade II listed 1910 post office, 3 storey Georgian buildings and the demolition of two other buildings on the site as well as a new build of contemporary insertion in a conservation area. They will be developed into a 55-bed luxury hotel with extensive restaurant accommodation and shops.

The project is currently at Stage C and needs full design and co-ordination through to completion. Planning has been granted but significant design work is still required to complete proposals.

The successful candidate would have worked on listed building alterations and new build as well as having worked on site. As a fully qualified Architect you should enjoy working on projects from start to finish and have a passion for design. You should also have experience of specification writing, production information and posses a strong technical background.

It is desirable that you have previous experience of working on a hotel project and enjoy engaging with interior design issues as well as Architectural.
