Job Description
Responsible for all procedures carried out in the role of echocardiographer.
Comply with 4 Ways protocols and policies in relation to all areas of practice.
Comply with additional local protocols and procedures as required at on-site Health care locations.
Responsible for planning and organization of own workload, either as an individual or as a team, without direct line management supervision.
Use own initiative where necessary to enable the smooth running of echo services on-site on a daily basis
Work flexibly, as an individual/ team member, in order to cover the needs and evolving requirements of the service, taking into account also colleagues, peers, patients and their carers.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Acknowledge limitations of knowledge and skills, seeking advice and support as needed.
Prticipate in clinical audit and undergo further training as requested.
Contribute to the assessment and on-going development/improvement of echo services
