FINANCIAL REPORTING AND TREASURY ACCOUNTANT

Job Description

Our client is looking to recruit a Financial Reporting and Treasury Accountant, reporting to the Group Chief Accountant.

Primary duties include:

• Assisting in the preparation of the Group’s interim and annual published financial information
• Calculation of the Group’s UK GAAP to IFRS conversion adjustments
• Assisting with the Group’s IAS39 reporting obligations and calculations
• Preparation of the Group’s subsidiary financial statements under UK GAAP
• Assisting in the development of the Group’s internal financial reporting capabilities

Candidates must be CA/CPA qualified preferably with experience of an industrial/trading commodity environment, have excellent technical accounting skills and in-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS. In addition you must have advanced MS office skills, be highly motivated with good communication skills.
