Job Description
A progressive local authority urgently requires a freelance Policy Planner to play a pivotal role in the implementation of the Local Development Frameworks. Your primary function will be to manage the development of Green Strategy encompassing Climate Change mitigation, renewable energy in conjunction with open spaces. Additional policy areas will also include Minerals & Waste strategy and the production of sustainability appraisals. Successful candidates will have acquired practical experience as a Policy Planner in the UK or overseas.
