About the Role

In this role you'll have an opportunity to provide principal support in the delivery of the routine highways inspection and the reporting on enquiries and complains about the highway as part of the service delivery to London Borough of Ealing (LBE). As a part of your role, you'll carry out daily safety inspections as set up on the inspection program to ensure compliance with the contract, as well as identify any safety defects, which exceeds set intervention levels, takes appropriate photographs and raised orders for repairs through electronic held devices.

About You

Ideally, you'll have qualification as a Highways Inspector and have Highways Inspection experience in particular working with local authorities. You'll need to have knowledge of highways maintenance practices and procedures and be well-versed in IT (use of digital cameras, emails, Microsoft Office). Clean driving license is required. Knolwedge of Confirm is desirable.

You'll also need to be physically fit in walking long distances on a daily basis (approximately 5Km per day) and be able to work some unsociable hours and non-daylight hours but within the 37.5hours per week.
