Our client is a leading construction services Plc with clients in the utility and facilities sectors. In addition to this they also work with local authority providing repair, maintenance and capital investment services.
We are now seeking a Technical Writer to work within their Civil Engineering division based in the City of London supporting the business unit across London and the South East.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager the successful applicant will be working closely with Bid and Operational teams to plan, coordinate, contribute and produce high-quality documents. Ideally you will be from a constriction background and will be familiar with:

•Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ), method statements and risk assessment
•The undertaking of a range of specialist administrative responsibilities aimed at producing high quality proposals
•Assistance with Pre Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ)
•Produce Capability documents
•Produce Method statements
•Produce Risk Assessments
•Analysis of client requirements
•Preparation of proposal programmes & schedules
•Write, edit and review material for documents
Other key functions will include:
•Manage, review and update proposals files and databases.
•Capture information on projects, personnel, systems and procedures, facilities, and other topics such as health and safety, quality and the environment in a concise, readable format

Education
•Preferably educated to degree level within Civil Engineering
Experience
•Significant experience of preparing proposal documentation
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Very high standard of writing, copy editing and proofreading skills.
•Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
