Quantity Surveyor- Freelance contract Basis

Client
A highly recognised UK main Contractor with an enviable reputation in the private and public sectors is seeking for a Quantity Surveyor on freelance Contract Basis with proven experience in new build and Design and Build.

The client is looking for someone to run a £4 million Design and Build Residential Project based in Hampstead reporting to the Commercial Director. As Quantity Surveyor you will have a good track record working on both new build and Residential projects. Ideally You will possess at least 5 years experience in a Quantity Surveying Role and will have ideally worked for a UK main contractor.

Role and responsibilities:

¨Valuations (Applications), measurement.
¨Pricing and identifying Variations and Day works.
¨Sub-contractor enquiries, orders, payments and final accounts.
¨Correspondence with clients and sub-contractors.
¨Budgeting, forecasting,
¨Involved with commercial and contractual project - from design and build to traditional.
¨Projects range from £100,000.00 to £9,500,000.00.
¨Involved with projects from tender stage to project completion.
¨Projects worked on
