Job Title: ICU/CCU Nursing Opportunities In Abu Dhabi Commencing in 2009.
Positions Available: Senior Charge Nurse – Charge Nurse – Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Clinical Resource Nurse and Staff Nurses
Skills: ICU/CCU Long Term Ventilator Unit.

With excellent equipment and facilities The Sheikh Khalifa Medical City is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. The health care facilities that comprise SKMC are situated on an island about five miles wide and nine miles long. The Sheikh Khalifa Medical City provides a network of comprehensive health care facilities and services for the Island of Abu Dhabi.
Patient Care services include Royal and VIP, Paediatrics, Medical, Surgical, Day Care, Critical Care, Operating Room, Post Anaesthetic Recovery Room, Emergency and Outpatient Speciality Clinics and Behavioural Sciences.

The Role: Long Term Ventilated Patients Unit. Senior Charge Nurse, Charge Nurse, Clinical Resource Nurse and Staff Nurses.
The Person:
Bachelors in Nursing or equivalent qualification of NLT 3 years study duration from an accredited program.
Not less than 6 years post graduate, preferably in acute tertiary hospitals.
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Charge Nurse in relevant specialty.
Minimum of 2 years in specialty area.
*Clinical Resource Nurse – prefer 1 year as an Educator.
* Staff Nurse – 2 years post graduate in acute tertiary care hospital with minimum of 1 year in specialty area.

Valid/Current national licence/registration.
Desired:
Certified proof of yearly CME, Continuous post graduate courses, BLS, ACLS, PALS relevant to area of specialty.
