One of the UK's leading environmental consultancies, headquartered in central London, is looking for an Environmental Consultant to join it's successful Environmental Assessment and Design team.

The Environmental Consultant in London will join one of the the largest and most highly rated EIA teams within the UK, with an 18 year history. Their prestigious portfolio of domestic and international projects includes large-scale masterplans, quarrying, mixed use, leisure and heritage based redevelopment.

The appointee will join a professional and friendly team working on environmental impact assessments, technical studies, environmental management plans, sustainability appraisals and strategic environmental assessments.

The EIA Consultant will have a Bsc or Msc in appropriate discipline, with EIA experience in an established UK consultancy. They will also have the ability to provide professional advice and guidance to clients, with some experience of client management. A proven capability in EIA project management and related work on built environment projects is essential, and the successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills and team working capabilities. The individual will have a good working knowledge of the UK regulatory and legislative framework. They should also have the ability to supervise and support more junior members of staff. Candidates with a background or capability in a specialist area (e.g. noise, visual impact etc) may have an advantage.
In return the company offers excellent career prospects, a basic salary in the region of £26 –£28k (depending on experience), and a benefits package including an annual bonus scheme, pension, and the option to buy or sell annual leave days.
