This Limited Liability Partnership of approximately 140 staff specialising in a number of sectors including commercial, residential, hotel, leisure, education and performing arts are currently looking for an Architect or Senior Assistant Architect to join their team in Covent Garden, London.

They are currently working on a number of projects including various large scale residential, hotel and commercial projects, as well as some wider mixed use master-plans. These include new build and refurbishment schemes in various locations around the UK.

The successful applicant will be working in a senior position working alongside the Project Architect, Principal Director. The role will incorporate direct liaison with contractor, design team and Client at influential stages and taking on design within the preparation of technical/construction information which will include planning and building regulation applications along with construction documentation/specifications. They will also have involvement in the wider team design debate.

Candidates need to be RIBA or BIAT registered with a minimum of 3 years technical background and enjoy working with autonomy and taking responsibility for projects. They should have excellent Microstation 2D skills and preferably have 3D exposure as well. A good knowledge of construction detailing and building regulations is also essential. An individual who also enjoys managing, working with and mentoring younger less experienced team members would be desirable.
