Job Description

This vacancy would suit a enforcement planner or developement control planner with UK or overseas planning experience.

The successful candidate will be required to investigate reports of planning contraventions and to resolve where possible and to assist in dealing with consequent planning applications and appeals.

Experience of handling paperwork, following procedures, processes, understanding the role of policy, in particular planning policies, knowledge or understanding of planning application, enforcement work and appeals.

Experience of gathering or presenting evidence or advice in public or in court.
Writing committee and other reports, and general correspondence.
Knowledge of development control including the planning application and planning enforcement process.
