An independent partnership of commercial property and planning consultants is currently seeking the addition of a talented town planner or senior planner to its expanding team. They provide agency, valuation, investment, development, planning, rating, management and building surveying advice services. With offices in Bristol, Huntingdon, Manchester, Edinburgh and the West End of London, they employ 132 professional and support staff, including 48 partners and associates. The Town Planning Department was established in 1980 and is one of the UK's leading planning consultancies. It comprises of 19 chartered town planners, supported by both secretarial and technical staff. The planners work on a full range of planning projects throughout the UK, with a particular emphasis on retail and leisure planning and mixed-use development, for both private and public sector clients. They are looking for a town planner or senior planner to become an integral part of their team. Private sector experience is an advantage, although local authority planners are very much welcomed. You must have a full drivers licence as you will be required to travel to rural/isolated sites from time to time.
