Job Description

In particular the focus for these individuals will be to work on a variety of high profile projects within their rail business.

The Principal Engineer will be responsible for looking after a team of 5 or 6 staff comprising a mixture of Senior Engineers, Engineers and Graduates. You should therefore possess team leadership skills, good communication skills (written and spoken), Commercial awareness and Technical Excellence. You should also have Project Management experience. Rail experience would be advantageous but not a prerequisite.

The Senior Engineer will play a key part in assisting the Principal Engineer to deliver projects to time, budget and quality. They should have solid experience in bridge design and possess man management skills in order to mentor more junior staff members.

Graduate Engineers will work on a variety of rail structure projects such as feasibility design, inspection assessments and renewals for bridges, culverts, station buildings etc. Possessing an MSc/BSC in Civil Engineering you should have post graduate design experience with a keen interest in rail work.
