Job Description
A north west Council is looking for a Major Applications Officer to provide a professional and high quality service on behalf of the London Borough and to deal with a personal caseload of major and complex planning applications, applications for listed building consent, etc.
You will be required to fulfil a pro-active role in the development of an effective and efficient development control service on major and complex application for the Council and to ensure that all draft Committee reports are accurate and concise.
The successful candidate will have full-time experience of Town Planning. Also be experienced in negotiating improvements to, acting as the case officer for and providing recommendations on a wide range of planning applications.
It is essential that you hold a degree or equivalent in Town Planning affording eligibility for membership of RTPI.
