Project Manager. We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a slipform RC silo. The silo will have a 45m diameter at ground level reducing as it reaches its finished height of 36m.

The Contractor requires a Project Manager to oversee all the RC elements including a substantial base and stabilizing works. All work will be carried out by the Contractor’s own labour.

The Role will suit a person who is able to liaise with the main contractor whilst ensuring that project is not impeded by a slow flow of information. Construction programmes and writing viable Method Statements will be part of your brief. The day to day overall supervision of the works, monitoring of Health & Safety and flow of commercial information will also be part of the role. A strong GF will take care of all labour and production issues.

Your attributes are to be professional and organised, able to control all on site activities and enjoy working under pressure to strict deadlines. You will be required to liaise with the design and planning teams and liaise with the client to achieve successful delivery of the project. The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate a stable career path with at least 5+ years as a Project Manger with known UK sub-contractors on similar projects in excess of £5m+. With strong site & project management skills, you are required to hold a relevant construction degree and health and safety qualifications.

Qualified to tertiary level in Civil Engineering you will be able to demonstrate previous experience in running a slipform project of a substantial size. References from previous employers must be provided. A suitable approach to the importance of Health & Safety must be clearly evident.

The Contract starts in January and is for a period of 10 – 12 weeks.

Reporting directly to the MD you will be rewarded well for a successful completion of the scheme.

Accommodation will be provided close to the project. Only candidates who are legally entitled to live and work in Ireland will be considered.
