Project Engineer. The Position offers an opportunity for a Project Engineer with 3-5 years post qualification experience, achieved through working for a contractor, sub contractor or developer, to build on that experience and move forward with one of the foremost contractors in London. You must have a positive and pro-active approach to Health & Safety, be commercially aware and capable of driving a project forward with the ability to motivate both your own staff and the sub contractors.

Project value £14 to £15m

The Company was established over 30 years ago and the senior management staff within the company have strong construction links and backgrounds giving them a distinctive edge over their competitors. With many notable developments already constructed or under construction the company has work already in hand through to 2008 / 2009

This Project is a major residential scheme in South-East London comprising in excess of 250 apartments with integral health and leisure facilities. The buildings will be multi storey RC frames whilst some structural steel will be utilised on the upper floors for penthouses and premiere suites.

Your Background to date will involve education to tertiary level, ideally degree qualified with a Civil Engineering or Construction Management bias, employment within the UK for a recognised and progressive contractor, sub contractor or developer, plus a clear indication that you are career and progress motivated. You will have worked on similar projects and been a very positive deputy to a Project Manager, able to take control of and address the many elements of a project that will lead to a positive and profitable conclusion.
