Job Description
A Berkshire council is looking to recruit a development control officer.
The position will require you to process allocated planning applications, enforcement enquiries and notices from initial referral through to the final decision and appeal and to undertake site inspections to check plans and assess proposals.
You will be required to give pre-application advice on planning and enforcement issues by letter, email, telephone and personal contact.
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of development control and planning enforcement regulations.
The successful candidate will have a recognised Town planning degree and previous experience in a similar role in the UK or overseas
